    I was born in London in 1953. Studied Fine Art (painting) at Sheffield School of Art and Design graduating with an Honours degree in Fine Art in 1975 I have travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Iceland. I have been a photographer for over forty years qualifying as an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Royal Photographic Society.

    I am a painter living and working in London. Working primarily in oils and mixed media to create works that move between abstraction, figuration, and imagined space. My practice is rooted in an intuitive, process-led approach in which imagery emerges through slow layering, erasure, and reconstruction.

    Adele studied for her B. A. (Hons) Degree in Textile Art at Winchester School of Art. After a short spell working for an interior magazine in London she set out to see the world. Years later, settling down in the historic city of York, she completed a diploma in Children's book illustration gaining a distinction. It was after this that she turned to using her camera, scanner and photoshop.

    Trained, practiced and taught Graphic Design turned to Printmaking as a main practice since 2017. Concentrated on Linocut initially predominantly 'Reduction'. Recently returned to college for an Adult learning Printmaking course and introduced to Tetrapak, Drypoint, Aquatint and other Intaglio processes which has expanded my outlook on many other possibilities and approaches.
