We met whilst studying for M.A. Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and discovered that we hold shared ideas and concerns.     I am a London based artist who uses photography, digital manipulation, and sound to create images, video, and installations. Searching beneath the surface by unpacking the layers that we keep secure is a fundamental aspect of my work.     I am a visual artist, illustrator and urban sketcher living and working in Yorkshire, UK. My work deals primarily with the landscapes and built environments in the North of England: I seek to capture the atmosphere and 'feel' of these places in a way that goes beyond description, capturing their essence and creating emotional resonance with the viewer.     Ashley Cundall is a Manchester based British contemporary artist best known for expressive urban and architectural paintings, particularly of UK cityscapes and coastal towns. He works mainly in acrylic, mixed media, and watercolour, often combining loose washes with bold line work, using Impressionistic and Expressionistic elements.
