I am an artist predominately concerned with post war architecture, it's inherent ideology, formal aesthetics, structural forms and the effects it has upon its inhabitants. I explores these themes in sculpture, photography, painting, installation and print in order to broaden and investigate related ideas.

I am a visual artist, working predominantly within the field of painting. I was awarded my practice led PhD by Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Graduate School, University of the Arts London in 2017. This research practice examines the threshold between aesthetic and banal absorption in painter to painting relationships drawing on the theories of Denis Diderot, Michael Fried and David Joselit.

As a sculptor/installation artist, I weld, weave, wrap or ravel steel wire into most of my work. Routes, boundaries and voids created help me understand connections and liminality. The wire is manipulated into weightless ethereal structures, barely visible yet imposing. With the involvement of my body and the inclusion of light, space, movement and sound, uncanny immersive environments emerge.
