    My practice explores the relationship between movement, emotion, and texture through the dual mediums of oil paint and clay.     My work explores the relationship between science and art. I visited the Moscow Museum of Cosmonautics and I was inspired to paint. Struck by the huge space hardware, it seemed to me that space exploration represented the most positive aspects of humanity. Great achievements are only made possible by the collaboration of skilled, knowledgeable people working together towards a common goal.

    About me I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2002 with a degree in Sculpture. I have been a Youth Worker for over 30 years. I love lino print for its sculptural aspects including carving to mark make and making impressions. Print making is relief making. My practice is playful, explorative and reactive.     I am a ceramist who uses unorthodox methods in my work, also I use mixed mediums in the ceramics They are all hand made and glazed.
