Finding inspiration from her background in mathematics and physics, she seeks to convey the excitement of the enquiry into the nature of matter and energy. She has been nominated for the New Blood Art Emerging Artist prize, 2023.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I have a passion for watercolour, pastel of wildlife botanical animal and more recently jewellery making . Over 10 years ago I was medically retired from the NHS with a Neurological condition so I picked up a pencil and started from there and have never stopped. I have done a few craft fairs in North Yorkshire where I'm from . I have now moved to Surrey are and I want to continue here with fairs.

    I am a painter that is interested in emotional memory and the part played through dance and music . I also work with abstract themes usually in mixed media .
