    In 1985 I graduated in textile design and printed surfaces. Following a solo career as a textile designer and printer I made a natural transition towards abstract painting in 1997. In 2021 I decided to leave a specialist teaching post to become a full time painter and establish my practice and professional presence. I live and work in Ditchling, East Sussex.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     I’m a contemporary artist creating vibrant, textured landscapes inspired by peaceful woods and delicate light. With a First-Class BA Hons in Fine Art painting and printmaking, I now work from my studio in the Peak District.
