    Born Bury Lancashire 1943. Goldsmiths College and ATC Course. On the ATC Course I became a student of Anton Ehrenzweig, whose emphasis on the process of searching for and testing out ideas with words, drawings and paintings in what he called “Tease & Worry Books” in order to find, clarify and develop meaningful imagery, became the necessary core of my work.

    My work is completely concerned with context, process and materials. I make paintings, drawings and collages, often on a very large scale. I use the dark room as an experimental space, making camera less imagery and double exposed 35mm. I use Lo-Fi audio techniques collecting field recordings and glitched samples.

    Peter is an international, award-winning, mixed media artist who uses both digital and conventional methods to create his art, including mobile photography (iPhone and iPad), acrylics, cyanotypes and gilding.
