A long-standing interest in the arts led me to pursue further studies including a History of Art course at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, painting courses at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art and the Royal College of Art, and a Sculpture Diploma followed by a Post-Diploma at Heatherley’

    I am a graphic designer and a visual artist. I work mostly in oil on canvas but work sometimes with acrylic and water colour. Most of my recent paintings were influenced political and social upheaval of our world today and the works of the Renaissance artists. I do not like artworks to be just for decoration but to evoke feelings.

    Glynis Lamond is a multidisciplinary artist who recently studied Drawing at post graduate level at University of Arts (Wimbledon). Her MA in drawing drew on her appreciation of found man made objects in the environment which embody past memories, emotions, stories or forgotten crafts or ways of working. These objects are reworked to give them new life and meaning.
