    Having worked with photography and cinema production, as well as different media and areas of painting, from porcelain to textiles, for over 20 years my art has been expressed in painting silks and photographing instants in the development of the painting process.     I am an artist with northern roots but based in Hackney. I completed a BTEC Foundation in Art & Design at Kendal College (2002), a Fine Art Certificate at Leeds University School of Fine Art and Cultural Studies (2004) and a BA in Interdisciplinary Art & Design at Leeds College of Art & Design.     Neurodivergent visual artist exploring embodied experience through drawing, painting and mixed media. My work draws on my background as a former elite gymnast and responds to movement, sensation and mental imagery emerging through EMDR therapy. Projects include ‘ProPriOception’ (Arts Council England - DYCP) and ‘Exploring Embodied Experience’, supported by a CuratorSpace Artist Bursary.
