    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects.     I am a mixed media artist based in Haworth, West Yorkshire. Upcycling is a theme that runs throughout my work, I have well established jewellery range my earrings and pendants with matching Teeny Tiny Tins. My mixed media pieces are all created from vintage finds including sections of printer's trays, mill bobbins and trinket pots. My two main collections feature ferns and bees.
