    Yimou Huang’s practice-based PhD from Dundee University explores the divergent influences of Chinese Taoism and Western Eco-Feminist thought on contemporary global art. It centers on the material aspects of dynamic forces, such as gravity, wind, and erosion. Yimou is particularly interested in transformational processes and their relation to traditional Chinese views on matter (stone, clay, wood)

    I am a stained glass artist who was mentored by Derek Hunt. I specialize in stained glass letterbox flower deliveries but also do large window work. I enjoy the traditional stained glass and Tiffany technique, with a more alternative style of window. My most popular work has been a bug that has been taken over by a flowering parasite, not only leaving its beautiful shell behind but also new life

    I live in the Bannau Brycheiniog, working as an artist, curator and tutor. My family has a log history in artistic and healing practices, and I am very happy to be ableto continue these traditions as an artist and facilitator.     I’m interested in the subtle communication of the environmental impact that humans have on our planet especially animals and water. Eg. Octopus Using everyday materials ‘found objects’ mixing them with other materials I plan to sculpt ‘The energetic quality of Water’ I trust that if my attention is on a ‘matter ‘the matter energetically changes.

    I am a photographer from a Fine Art background with a career spanning 4 decades producing work for Advertising Agencies and Designers. Throughout that time I have been fortunate enough to balance any commissioned work with my own personal practice, which ranges from Landscape and Industrial to Still life. I am now retired from the commercial arena and can now concentrate on my personal work.
