    I’m Jane and I’m a fine silver contemporary jewellery maker. I came to art as an outlet whilst being a full time carer though I’ve always loved the arts especially galleries. I’m due to commence an arts degree in June 2026 to deepen my love of drawing.

    Growing up as a military ‘brat’ through the troubles in Northern Ireland among other places has had a profound effect on my artistic make up. I have strong identity yet often do not feel a sense of belonging, I have a small studio in North Yorkshire from which I work primarily in oil on canvas

    Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally. I then returned to mixed media work in 2021.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I am Natalie Breeze Creative. I love things that are colourful, warm, uplifting and playful.
