    Im an abstract painter, with great sensitivity, who creates his works by bending reality and sometimes even touching on irrationality.     During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I am an artist and art historian of Swiss and Belgian origin. I taught for several years Plastic Arts and Art History. Now, I am fully devoted to the creation as well as the promotion of my artistic work in Switzerland and internationally. I have focused my research on overcomming the classical border between an artwork and the viewer. This desire gave rise to my "intervariactive" artworks.

    Cat is a visual artist based in Mid-Wales, UK. Cat won joint-third prize in the Gwenllian Ashley Art Prize 2024 with her artwork ‘Evolution Revolution’. She was awarded Student of the Year, and gained a distinction in the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at Coleg Ceredigion in 2024. Cat went on to study classical oil painting under acclaimed artist Louis Smith.

    I create art using discarded confectionery foil from treats, repurposing them to spark imagination and evoke memories. As I navigate young-onset dementia, this art offers a vital form of expression. My work explores rebirth and transformation, inviting viewers to rethink the beauty and value of second chances, both for materials and the stories we create around them.

    Having completed a degree in Fine Art I went on to complete an MA Fine Art at BCU . I revel in exploring, unpicking, and going on a journey to see where the art takes me. When I paint and draw, I really do feel the work emanates from within and emerges, bursting forth. I embrace my gestural approach, and investigate large scale using oil, oil sticks, and water soluble crayons.
