    My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.

    I am a Yorkshire lass from Barnsley. I recently graduated from Hull with a fine art degree. I have immersed myself in creativity to cope with a long term illness fibromyalgia.     I am a full time artist mainly working in textiles. I have a degree in Fashion & Textiles from Leicester Polytechnic, but have been working in 'creative textiles' for over 15 years. I have experience of working in the community and in schools, creating large textile installations. I also exhibit my work in various exhibitions and Open Studios. I sell my smaller works at fairs and in galleries.

Initially a writer, he abandoned his former life to become a full-time artist.     My name is Meg Bristol. I am an acrylic painter from Cornwall. I currently studying at the University of Leeds, working in acrylic depictions of the ordinary. My work is designed to appeal to those who enjoy the beauty of a quiet moment.     Nicola Briggs is an Artist & Ceramicist based in Manchester, UK. She completed a BA(Hons) Design: Ceramics Arts Degree from Staffordshire University in 1998 and set up her first studio with the help of The Princes Trust.
