    I am a ceramist who uses unorthodox methods in my work, also I use mixed mediums in the ceramics They are all hand made and glazed. My work is unique as every piece is different and I only make one. My heads have lots of features and need to be seen by the eye to appreciate the details.     I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.

    I’m a colour-blind artist/cartoonist fascinated by the overlooked moments of everyday life. The way people interact with their surroundings, both living and inanimate, in ways that are often unnoticed.     I am a painter who has moved into three dimensions. My painting is very classical in technique, using glazes to achieve tones and contrasts. The work is abstract in concept but in retrospect I find it grows out of my immediate and long term visual experiences.
