    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience.     Darren is a metal sculpture artist originally from Leeds, who designs and makes functional yet prominent sculptures. The journey started in the mid 90's after completing my studies at the Leeds College of Art. I was successful in having a piece of work accepted into the Leeds Art Gallery, Open Artists Exhibition.

    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.
