Report this?I am an interdisciplinary artist working across a range of media . My work explores feelings of grief and loss through the context of “what remains”. How we connect to and remember the dead through the material "stuff" which is left behind is central to my work. I use a visual language of dereliction , fragility and decay in my artmaking in order to mirror the emotional state of grief.

His work is often designed to be viewed using a mixture of augmented reality, ultraviolet lighting and/or 3D glasses. Much of Tom’s work is about perception, paradox and self-delusion, how the parameters of truth, or reality are all agreed constructs, a lie we are all complicit in.

Report this?I work with different media - mainly sculpture, drawing and video. I am intrigued by the idea that survival and societal progression are similar things, each helping to bring about a continual cycle of renewal and obsolescence. Whilst decay, deterioration and neglect are central themes of my practice, I am also interested in the quest to transcend that which is deemed ordinary.
