    Teresa is a British/Maltese mixed media abstract artist who after returning to art as a mature student, completed an MA in Art and Science at Central Saint Martins in 2020. Her practice is concerned with the formation and recollection of memory and she explores the nature of memory and its vulnerabilities in the context of personal histories, family, and relationships.

    I grew up in the ancient port of Whitby, in northern England which sits between the North Yorkshire Moors and the North Sea. This dramatic environment has influenced my art as much as my multi-ethnic ancestry and popular culture. As do the conflicts within our existence: light and dark; life and death; imprisonment and freedom; censorship and expression.

    My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.

    David Ian Bickley is an award-winning media artist whose body of work spans the primitive technological of the 1970’s to the digital cutting edge of today. His media work has manifested as television, installation, electronic music and video art.     After studying Textile Design at University Deborah became a secondary school Art teacher for nearly ten years. However these days she enjoys working from home on her paintings and models along with running workshops in the local area.     Having been an artist since I was little, I practised properly as a professional artist since 2020. I studied at Dumfries and Galloway college doing Art and Design at HND level I went on to study at home on self portraits, I practise daily my technique and my love for the female form. I was a model between 16-25 years old, and have the same outlook that the female body is beautiful.
