    Adele studied for her B. A. (Hons) Degree in Textile Art at Winchester School of Art. After a short spell working for an interior magazine in London she set out to see the world. Years later, settling down in the historic city of York, she completed a diploma in Children's book illustration gaining a distinction. It was after this that she turned to using her camera, scanner and photoshop.

    I started out in art creating pencil pet portraits for friends and family. When these proved popular, I branched out and began experimenting with a variety of media, and a variety of subjects. I am always learning, and thoroughly enjoying the process. I decided to take the plunge and set up a website for my art earlier in 2025.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, digital media, video and print. Her practice explores feminist themes, domestic labour and materiality. She reimagines household tools as metaphors for resilience and ritual. Trained in hospitality before studying silversmithing and Fine Art, she completed BA and MA degrees at Central Saint Martins (2021) and is now undertaking a Prof Doc.

    Samuel Booth (b.1982) is a photographer based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK. A brain injury in 2009 caused years of daily chronic pain, which photography has been a lifesaving therapy for. The photography started originally as part of a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award hobby in 2001, it has played a very important role throughout, especially now.

    I am a London-based artist working across analogue and digital processes to explore connections between labour, race and technology. My interest in animation techniques, theory and practice has influenced a current body of work that uses computer generated images (CGI) and film. I incorporate craft, gardening and walking as entanglements of history, place and identity.

    Exploring the lost and found, the past and how it has shaped us, connection and heritage are the themes central to my work. I seek to create a certain atmosphere and emotion. All at once imagined and familiar, a connection with the viewer and a continued exploration to find my own place in the world. Inspired by my home in beautiful, rugged Northumberland.

    Cathy Simpson is an illustrator and painter based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Her work is concerned with the natural world of plants and animals, and often relates to environmental themes. She studied graphic design and illustration at Central St Martin’s, and archaeological illustration at Bath University.

    I am a Visual Artist, Researcher and Maker specialising in textiles, who has recently completed an AHRC-funded practice-based doctorate at Northumbria University. I exhibit regularly both individually and as part of a collaborative partnership and art collectives.     Sarah McAlister graduated with MA Textiles from The University for the Creative Arts in 2024 and focuses her practice on re-using found materials. Her work is made in response to places and events she has experienced. Her ethos as a textile artist is to recycle, re-use and re-purpose existing resources meaning that her pieces are made entirely from found objects and fabrics.
