    Agata Henderson is a London-based, self-taught glass artist and garden designer working from her garden studio in Ealing. Originally from Poland, she moved to London in the early 2000s where she runs successful garden design practice and explores various glass techniques including stained glass, kiln formed glass, jewellery, mosaic, pate de verre and casting.

    I am a UK based, mixed media artist working primarily in encaustic. Alongside my art practice, I promote and educate about this 2500 year old technique, determined that this ancient medium experience a resurgence in the UK as it has in the USA. My process involves building up layers of encaustic paint (molten beeswax, tree sap and pigment) on wood, adding fire to fuse (bond) the layers together.

    I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability.
