    Embroiderer and wordsmith, Catherine Hill is a multi-award-winning contemporary textile artist based in the UK.     Hi I’m a self employed artist/illustrator and art teacher. I run art workshops, create wall and window murals for businesses and educational settings and I create original art /illustration prints which I stock in my online shop and sell at art markets and exhibitions. I illustrate empowered perfectly imperfect women, and I also draw figures exploring the great outdoors. I use inks and collage.

    I am Olamide Adesola aka Ayo'lamide. I have a masters degree in Fine Art from Teesside University and a BSc degree in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria. I started art as a young girl. I have participated in exhibitions, home & abroad. This was done so as to solidify my intention of achieving an uninterrupted creative/professional practice as a professional artist.
