    Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces. Through painting, photography, travel or writing, create layered works that invite viewers to slow down, look deeper and discover what often unseen.

    I am Olamide Adesola aka Ayo'lamide. I have a masters degree in Fine Art from Teesside University and a BSc degree in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria. I started art as a young girl.     I’m a local artist working from my studio at Art Space Portsmouth, Hampshire in the U.K. I graduated from The University of Chichester with a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Art. My practice usually involves painting, drawing and photography. I was artist in residence at Portsmouth cathedral and have exhibited throughout the region.
