    I am a Welsh artist inspired by the beautiful and historic North Wales landscape; the mountains, the sea and the wildlife. I work mostly with acrylics or coloured pencils although I also work in watercolours, pencil, pen and chalk pastels. I paint and draw landscapes, moments and ideas that I think are beautiful.

    Believe it or not I first used drawings to impress my father so from childhood it has been my go to place when depressed and also done out of joy being a disabled artist I like to use my talent to express feelings and emotions situations in life

    I am a painter of modern life. My work has largely been based on observations of my environment. However, recently I have been creating works of the imagination. These later paintings and digital prints touch upon interpersonal relationships and humanity’s connections to the environment.

    Demi is a northern British contemporary abstract artist, who has lived across industrial towns and northern countryside. Demi's artwork is fuelled by these contrasting environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media.     Lo graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009 with a Ba(Hons) in Fine Art. She has since been writing, drawing and working in Leeds with her cat and number one fan, Moo. She works as an independent Illustrator and is one half of the creative duo, Lo & Vee. Together they run a regular art class and have had success with their large, detailed, painted murals.

    Through my work I want to explore the mythological representation of women and how stories have been influenced and reengineered by patriarchy. How women have been written out of folklore and how stories have been changed to fit in with this ideology.
