    My art explores mental health, struggle, healing, and growth, shaped by my psychology background, including a Master’s in Psychology Research and years supporting young people with mental health challenges and special needs. I'm inspired by the intersection of humanity and nature, and transform inner emotions into expressive portraits, vivid abstractions, and unique, deeply human characters.

    I work in the medium of film/video and photography. I studied photography before going on to study fine art at Leeds where I specialised in video art.     I am a Fine Artist. I work mainly in painting and printmaking. My work explores colour and currently I am interested in colour charts. I studied a degree in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and an MA in Printmaking at Bradford School of Art. I have worked in education for many years, both as a teacher and lecturer in Art and Design. I am currently an associate lecturer at Craven College.
