    Jenny Beard (b. 1994) is a Leeds-based artist from Barnsley whose abstract, textural paintings explore digital aesthetics, dissociation, and working-class identity. Influenced by Action painting, Meta-painting and Postdigital art, she works mainly with oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas.

    I am a socially-engaged, early career, multidisciplinary, conceptual, female visual artist based in the West Midlands, UK. I focus on mutable urban and suburban ground level ecosystems to explore intersections of culture, species and matter.     Misiones (b.1960), Argentina, Zavala grew up in an artistic environment of writers, musicians, and landscape painters, and these reemerged later in his life when he adopted art in different formats. Past awards include public commissions for an urban sculpture in Hertfordshire in 2006. Zavala was trained in fine art at the Newlyn School of Art in 2021-22. He has lived in the UK since 1996.

    Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces.
