    I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.     I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

    Sue Dewhurst is a narrative painter whose work explores ordinary lives, overlooked people and changing communities through humour, social observation and nostalgia. Drawing on Northern working-class roots and her life in rural West Wales, she combines character, place and storytelling to examine memory, belonging and the social histories hidden in the everyday.

    David Fox is a hand weaver and textile artist who explores materials and form with an interest in people, place or textile heritage. His studio is at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley just outside of Leeds, and is also known as Fox on the Sley.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    In 2024 I became aware of the huge potential of acrylics so have switched across from watercolours that I have done for 10 years or so. Loving the fact that you can use almost anything to create a picture and it is a far more creative media. I use the brand name 'Random Acrylics' because they will be exactly that as you will see what you want to see.
