    Torbjörn is a small business based in Derby run solely by Emily - a self taught silversmith. Emily works from her home studio where she makes sustainable, silver and gold jewellery. She uses recycled precious metals and ethically sourced gemstones to create one of a kind and limited edition pieces for people to treasure.

    I am a trained textile and surface pattern designer and have been fortunate to have travelled extensively to which has inspired the majority of my art work. I enjoy working with multimedia and utilising digital technology for the final piece. I am inspired by the combination of colourways in landscapes, nature and abstract imagery.

    I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design in 2010, after previously studying fashion and textiles and fine art.

    My practice is muti-disciplinary but a unifying starting point for most of my work is print or collage. I am an artist and educator interested in the social applications of art. I like to create work that is playful and invites interaction in some way. Ritual, play, wonder, performance, perceptions of reality and imagined narratives are all important themes within my practice.
