    I am currently a MA student studying Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Previously, I studied Ceramics and craft Art at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in China. My work spans sculpture, installation, painting, and illustration. My creative themes mostly revolve around existentialism, the unnoticed cracks in everyday life, and the subtle emotions evoked in humans.

    In the last year I have returned to full time education following a decade of being a stay at home parent.     Mukah Ispahani, born in 1996, is a multidisciplinary artist born in whose work explores themes of social change, cultural identity, and faith, aiming to inspire positive action and evoke strong emotional connections. Working primarily with ballpoint pens and oil paints, he creates realistic yet visually impactful figurative works, drawing inspiration from nature and faith.

    I love experimenting with light sensitive materials and various chemistry to push boundaries of what analogue photography can do to feed my creative side. I find joy in trying out new things in the darkroom and jumping from one photographic process into another; Lith, Mordançage, Pinhole Camera, Cyanotype, Wet Plate Collodion, Tintype - you name it, I'll do it :D
