    My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.

    I am a mixed media artist and Designer/ Maker I have always been interested in interdisciplinary or mixed-media arts exploring different mediums, i trained in the North East of England at university of Northumbria in Newcastle. recently designing and building structures for festival installation.     Started as a sculptor 5 years ago and had some success - ArtClubChianciano Sculpture Prize 2023- London Biennale; 2024 Boomer Art Award, London; Prize at RBSA Winter Show, Birmingham 2025. Represented by Clifton Fine Art, Bristol; Rothschild Gallery, Exbury and Sculpture Park, Churt, Surrey and invited to be a member of the Bath Society of Artists 2025 and be Sculpture judge at their Open .

    Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.

    Anna is a Ukrainian artist-researcher based in the UK and working in the style of metamodernism. She was born in 1991.     My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.
