Report this?I am a designer maker working often in ceramics. I see the beauty in the broken, overlooked and discarded. My latest work was using fully fired ceramics that were in the bin and, crushing these up, I put them inside jesmonite sculptures. I want to highlight the moments in our lives where we feel broken, worthless and discarded... in order to remind us we are strong and valuable.

Demeter Dykes

Works with
Report this?I live and work in Dorset. My practice revolves around making with materials that are intrinsic to my everyday life. and short video works. The images are absurd and playful and have a performative aspect.
