I live and work in Dorset. My practice revolves around making with materials that are intrinsic to my everyday life. and short video works. The act of making is devotional and mostly at odds with the banality of the material which can be anything from old, shredded bills to empty tea bags. The images are absurd and playful and have a performative aspect.

The process of making is at the heart of my work and I share this passion by facilitating collective art events and workshops for adults.

Using narrative, language and visual impact to explore themes such as motherhood, our connection to nature, the body and spirituality, I often draw upon lived experience and work mainly within sculpture, photography and collage.

Painting landscapes has been an integral part to my artistic life all along. Land- and cityscapes seem to come into view particularly when we begin to lose traction with the mundane everydayness of things. When we are undergoing some radical internal shift of priority or perspective, we are often grateful to notice landscape that has been there all the time, waiting for us to wake up to it...
