    I’m Elizabeth Benson, a UK-based artist working between textile and sculpture. I explore how cloth, dye and fibre respond to contact, pressure and time, using natural dyes, tannins and iron to create layered works where colour and form emerge through interaction rather than control.

    Sunderland is a painter and drawer living and working in Plymouth, England. His work is constantly referencing the changes in time, light and shadow, and where man-made or natural forms co-exist in the environment.     Having worked with photography and cinema production, as well as different media and areas of painting, from porcelain to textiles, for over 20 years my art has been expressed in painting silks and photographing instants in the development of the painting process.     Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.
