    I'm an artist living in the Lancashire countryside. This really inspires my art as I love to create designs that connect with nature. I trained in graphic design and more recently gained a BA Honours in Visual Communications. I offer a broad range of experience and skills, enabling me to work in a variety of styles and materials.

    Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.

    Dex Hannon is a British multimedia artist based in Blyth, North East England, UK, originally from Manchester.     I grew up in the ancient port of Whitby, in northern England which sits between the North Yorkshire Moors and the North Sea. This dramatic environment has influenced my art as much as my multi-ethnic ancestry and popular culture. As do the conflicts within our existence: light and dark; life and death; imprisonment and freedom; censorship and expression.

    Julie lives in the beautiful historic village of Bonsall on the edge of the peak district and works with mixed media incorporating paint, collage and textiles. Working in sketch books influences her work, nature, birds, flowers, iconic images and interior scenes all feature in her work.     Lo graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009 with a Ba(Hons) in Fine Art. She has since been writing, drawing and working in Leeds with her cat and number one fan, Moo. She works as an independent Illustrator and is one half of the creative duo, Lo & Vee. Together they run a regular art class and have had success with their large, detailed, painted murals.
