    My 2D work describes concepts using narratives, symbols and visual rhythms. I have curated 37+exhibitions for a gallery founded in a social inclusion project in S. London.     I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me. I mainly use charcoal as a medium of artistic expression to empower the dark and messiness of charcoal representing my vision.

    As mixed media artist, I have worked as a textile artist since I took early retirement 14 years ago. Recently, I have also restarted water colour painting and my work now includes a mixture of paint, fabrics, stitch, hand weaving and embellishments. I have taken many courses on textile art techniques, printing, eco dyeing, paper making. etc.

    I am a painter, educator and scholar. I live and work in Bristol (SW England) and St Davids (SW Wales). I am not a ‘landscape painter’, but my abstract work is informed by both these environments. I am 66, and have one son. I live with my partner and work from home. My studio practice involves close attention to working as locally and sustainably as possible.

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.

    Ebru Clegg was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She embraced different cultures by travelling through Europe and living in Geneva for several years in the 2000’s. While she was living in Istanbul, she had the pleasure of working with numerous international art galleries (Turkish, French, British and German) to exhibit her work. She moved to the UK and built her own studio and had started work.
