    I am an artist based in Cumbria, originally from South Yorkshire. My main focus within my art practice is to create sculptural artworks by recreating and repurposing items and materials that I collect, source and find. I also explore the use of other materials (such as wire, etc), other art practices (such as ink drawings, etc) and the making of decorative goods.

    My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation.
