    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     I am a rural Alberta artist whose practice combines dermestid beetle cleaning with intricate beadwork and painted designs on wildlife skulls. Each piece begins as a natural process, with beetles preparing the bone, and evolves into a work of art through hundreds of hours of hand-placed beads. My work explores cycles of life, death, memory, and renewal, transforming skulls into contemporary objects

    Demi is a northern British contemporary abstract artist, who has lived in cities, industrial towns and the countryside. A lot of Demi's artwork is inspired by her changing environments, her work is primarily climate focused, forming both abstract landscape and animal paintings using mixed media.
