    I grew up in the ancient port of Whitby, in northern England which sits between the North Yorkshire Moors and the North Sea. This dramatic environment has influenced my art as much as my multi-ethnic ancestry and popular culture. As do the conflicts within our existence: light and dark; life and death; imprisonment and freedom; censorship and expression.

    Born in Nottinghamshire, Stuart Reid completed a Foundation course in Art and Design at Grimsby School of Art. He studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and Birmingham School of Art (Postgraduate Painting). He lives in East London and works in a Space Studio.     I have returned to working as an artist after a long career as a Mental Health Nurse and have rediscovered the joy that creating art can bring. I work primarily with printmaking, working from a group studio in the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire. My surroundings, amongst the valleys on the edges of the Pennines, inspire my use of foraged, natural materials in my work.

    Sara-Louise Dobson is a multidisciplinary artist currently studying an MA at Central Saint Martins. Awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 2018, Sara now divides her time between private commissions and community projects. Her art practice is reflective of the current political climate, focusing on diversity whilst using experimental techniques.
