    I am a visual artist working in sculpture installation and print. With a BA in 3D Design in Glass from UCA Farnham, I graduated with an MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins London 2018. Investigating themes related to natural forces and perception, I won the National Open Art Prize Installation Category in 2017 and was selected for the British Glass Biennale 2022.

    Trained, practiced and taught Graphic Design turned to Printmaking as a main practice since 2017. Concentrated on Linocut initially predominantly 'Reduction'. Recently returned to college for an Adult learning Printmaking course and introduced to Tetrapak, Drypoint, Aquatint and other Intaglio processes which has expanded my outlook on many other possibilities and approaches.

    I am a London based artist who uses photography, digital manipulation, and sound to create images, video, and installations. Searching beneath the surface by unpacking the layers that we keep secure is a fundamental aspect of my work. Often nostalgic, sometimes beautifully melancholic, I make tender unsettling images drawn from my reflections of human behaviour.

    I am a multi-disciplinary artist, working in collage and assemblage art. In my work I examine the possibilities available when using found materials and appropriated images. I mix abstract shapes, redact, edit and censor the photographs and text to create new stories about form, negative and positive space, women, masks (real and imagined) and queerness.

    I’m a colour-blind artist/cartoonist fascinated by the overlooked moments of everyday life. The way people interact with their surroundings, both living and inanimate, in ways that are often unnoticed.     I’ve been trying to get to the root of why I paint what I paint, after much ruminating I think I’ve realised the different avenues my mind travels down. I’ve become more interested recently in a still life aspect to my work, looking at old toys and discarded objects and it’s the stories about the past, that I can almost see- just out of reach and stories are the main diet of my imagination.

    I'm a new graduate of Fine Art working in pen and ink and I love to capture the little details of the world around me in Yorkshire. I've come to art after a career in archaeology, where observing and drawing the small details was an essential part of my role. These technical archaeological drawings form the foundation of my practice, inspiring me to look at the fine details around me.
