    Dr Sally Bailey is a full-time painter/writer/researcher based in Birmingham. She completed her Fine Art MA at the Birmingham School of Art in 2016, and her practice-led PhD in 2021. Bailey’s painting practice acknowledges the traditions and past histories of painting, but is not bound by a formal approach.

    I returned to college age 24 & completed a Degree in 'Combined Studies in Crafts' at Crewe and Alsager college. After graduating I started making wooden boxes, cabinets clocks etc. Then I designed large scale public art projects, taught workshops & residencies. I now concentrate on botanical & tree prints created with multiple layers. I also have a range of plaster cast flower plaques.

    I am a landscape artist working in oils and mixed media, my work is diverse and colourful drawn from direct experience of landscape. I make calm and meditative paintings that create a peaceful atmosphere drawn from experience. During the recent past we have all been confined and isolated and I have responded to this challenge by directing my attention to making work about my garden

    Di McGhee is a visual artist with a background in public art and socially engaged projects. Her site specific installations respond to the immediate surroundings, utilising or are inspired by found materials. Her work presents environmental themes and issues such as climate change, pollution, erosion and adaptation on a public scale. She is an established art educator and workshop facilitator.

    My 2D work describes concepts using narratives, symbols and visual rhythms. I have curated 37+exhibitions for a gallery founded in a social inclusion project in S. London. I have designed and run events, workshops and participatory installations exploring community, people's relationship to each other and encouraging creativity and self exploration.

    Keith, inspired by the Concorde era and a strong technical education, built a career in satellite navigation, leading engineering teams in industry. After transitioning to glass art, a stroke in 2019 reshaped his practice. Through resilience and rehabilitation, he returned with a renewed focus on material, balance, and creativity, now also sharing his knowledge through workshops and talks.
