    Mark Brereton is a contemporary Graphic Artist who uses playful and satirical imagery with undertones of horror and terror.     My mixed-media landscape and cityscape paintings are made with layers of translucent watercolour, acrylic or oils applied to a ground of textured gesso and sometimes incorporate hand painted collage areas. I paint in a lively, intuitive and experimental way, responding to the mediums I work with, incorporating sanding, scratching and repainting to enhance the texture and light of the surface

    Carolyn Lefley is a photographer, artist and educator. Her work uses photography and moving image to explore belonging, folklore, deep time and the natural world. She makes work in the rural landscape and in the studio using playful dioramas. Carolyn works with digital photography to create manipulated realities as well as using traditional techniques such as cyanotypes and liquid emulsion.

    My main area of work is traditional printmaking and I have been exhibited in 5 out of the 6 Royal Academies of Arts in the UK and Ireland. I also work in the area of drawing, watercolour, and photography. Many of my works are based on a science fiction setting of my own with occult, retro, and archaic elements, but I also work based on real life.

    I am a figurative sculptor working in the UK with gallery representation but now branching out into collaborative and site specific work. I use life casting to play along the spectrum of abstraction and figuration, often working in plaster and seeking ways of representing the human form that find beauty in the unusual or rarely appreciated. I also work in bronze both on a large and small scale.

    Having recently completed a foundation degree in textiles practice at Bradford School of Art, I am now embarking on a new chapter as a textile artist. In my previous life, I was a specialist speech and language therapist, and also an aromatherapist, and I continue to take the same multi sensory approach to my art work, as I did in my previous roles.
