I am a French‑born, London‑based textile and mixed‑media artist. My practice explores memory, heritage, and belonging through hand‑stitched sculpture, salvaged materials, and site‑responsive installations. I create works that invite reflection on the emotional and material landscapes we carry with us.

Following my graduation from a Fine Art Degree in 1993, I qualified as an art teacher, teaching art for over twenty-five years in various settings, including mainstream schools and referral units for children excluded from school. My understanding of art and how students can be encouraged to create has enlightened, inspired and enriched my understanding of the practice and process of making art.

I am a Northern Irish artist currently based in Kent Using found objects and recycled materials, I tend to work in response to specific sites, indoors and out. Reclaimed materials often retain the traces or scars of their former use but can be given a new energy charge when redeemed. I sometimes combine these with materials held to have more value or impact, such as stained glass, itself recycled

I work with conceptual art that incorporates natural processes: rain and the drying of simulated puddles on canvas, interactions between artefacts and honeybees, action painting with biochar in ritual performances, as well as traditional painting. My aim is to express the experience of unity between mind, body, nature, creation, and everyday life.

Creative expression has always been intrinsic to my life having worked with pencil, pen and ink, lino cut, oil pastel, watercolour and acrylics. After retiring in 2017 I followed my passion for mid century design restoring and selling sewing boxes internationally.I then returned to mixed media work in 2021 focusing on alcohol inks on birch ply to enhance the beauty of the wood grain.
