Report this?I am Tha Blue Cat, an autistic artist. I paint and sculpt the Blue Cat as a symbol of perception and otherness. Report this?I create art using discarded confectionery foil from treats, repurposing them to spark imagination and evoke memories. As I navigate young-onset dementia, this art offers a vital form of expression. My work explores rebirth and transformation, inviting viewers to rethink the beauty and value of second chances, both for materials and the stories we create around them.

Report this?I grew up in the ancient port of Whitby, in northern England which sits between the North Yorkshire Moors and the North Sea. This dramatic environment has influenced my art as much as my multi-ethnic ancestry and popular culture. As do the conflicts within our existence: light and dark; life and death; imprisonment and freedom; censorship and expression.
