    I'm an artist, educator and curator. I create sculptural installations, using recycled and found materials. At the root of my practice is the notion of interconnectedness, with a focus on environmental concerns about human exploitation of nature. Projects include step in stone '15 and B-Wing '19.     Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     My work revolves around topics on being female within urban and public spaces, how we move through these spaces, and how we as women are affected in a world that has been built for a very a masculine way of life. I use the term psycho-vandalism to explore how catcalling and the potential of unwelcome altercations reshapes our experience of being in, and using public space.

    Rachel was born in Southampton and is a sculptural ceramic artist living in South Wales where she has her own small studio. After spending many years in general medical practice as well as in the legal world, she decided to follow a lifelong ambition to practise art. She obtained a first class honours degree in Fine Art in 2020.

    I have been making work in ceramics for over 30 years. My most recent work explores my personal history as a gay man growing up in the 1970's and 80's and discovering queer artists and creatives that helped me to shape who I am. I am currently based in Liverpool where I also run a ceramics studio called Baltic Clay.

    I am a visual artist based in Hastings and have exhibited, participated in and produced work for artists led projects, residencies and commissions in the UK and Europe. I work with a wide range of materials including installation, sculpture, film and photography and my practice is focused on an exploration of the relationship between our senses, architecture and space.

    I qualified with a BA in Fine Art in 1982 and after a career in FE and HE I retired early in 2018. I make paintings and sculpture based on real and remembered landscapes presented together to suggest non-linear narratives. In 2004 I took timeout to study an MA in Creative Technology working with 3d modelling and real/virtual environments reflecting the superimposition of memory over place.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist, based in Dorset. I am a full time artist but also a mother of three. I work figuratively and abstractly predominantly I’m a painter. I have a B.A. Hons in Printmaking 2:1 and an M.A in Printmaking with Distinction from Camberwell School of Art. I am prolific and definitely suffer from more ideas than I have actual time for.
