    Nesta Pilkington is the working name of Suzy Maxwell MA (Falmouth 2006). A main concept of the work is a love of animals, who they are and how they touch our lives. Where we and they 'meet' is a sort of cross-species connection. It is a spiritual connection and when they inevitably die, we feel it as an unbelievably deep loss. The sculptures are an interpretation of this inter-relationship.

    Flora Wallace is a London-based ceramic artist creating hand-built stoneware plates and platters using a self-developed coloured-clay technique.     My name is Meg Bristol. I am an acrylic painter from Cornwall. I currently studying at the University of Leeds, working in acrylic depictions of the ordinary. My work is designed to appeal to those who enjoy the beauty of a quiet moment.     I am by definition an abstract artist who mainly specialises in painting. I use acrylic paint and mixed media to create my artworks, typically on large abandoned photographs, paper or canvas. The general theme behind my work is rooted in environmental issues and explores the contrasts between a natural existence and a synthetic environment that many of us find ourselves living in.

    Currently my practice is built around transition, on curiosity and discovery, I have no fixed media on how to create works with depth, texture, and atmosphere, but it happens. I layer can colour, gesture, and even fragments of text to form pieces that feel alive with energy and meaning, inviting viewers to pause and connect.
