    I am an artist working primarily with ceramics. I was born in France and now live and work in London where I graduated from City Lit College. My work examines how we respond to emotional experiences such as memories, loss and sense of belonging. I make abstract sculptures that look like they have been found rather than made and challenge our expectations and perception of ceramics.

    I am Olamide Adesola aka Ayo'lamide. I have a masters degree in Fine Art from Teesside University and a BSc degree in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo, Nigeria. I started art as a young girl. I have participated in exhibitions, home & abroad. This was done so as to solidify my intention of achieving an uninterrupted creative/professional practice as a professional artist.     My work explores, identity, space and belonging through memory and migration. I specialise with analogue film and photography, combining this with digital mediums to create layered pieces of artwork. I have a special interest in exploring stories from the past, stories of migration and transition of cultures in today's society. I am one of the founders of an artist collectives called COVert Arts.

    My work is completely concerned with context, process and materials. I make paintings, drawings and collages, often on a very large scale. I use the dark room as an experimental space, making camera less imagery and double exposed 35mm. I use Lo-Fi audio techniques collecting field recordings and glitched samples.

    I am a Yorkshire lass from Barnsley. I recently graduated from Hull with a fine art degree. I have immersed myself in creativity to cope with a long term illness fibromyalgia. Using open water swimming and the combination of a fibre arts based creative practice has seen i through difficult times.

    In 2024 I became aware of the huge potential of acrylics so have switched across from watercolours that I have done for 10 years or so. Loving the fact that you can use almost anything to create a picture and it is a far more creative media. I use the brand name 'Random Acrylics' because they will be exactly that as you will see what you want to see.

    I am a Fine Artist. I work mainly in painting and printmaking. My work explores colour and currently I am interested in colour charts. I studied a degree in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and an MA in Printmaking at Bradford School of Art. I have worked in education for many years, both as a teacher and lecturer in Art and Design. I am currently an associate lecturer at Craven College.

    Alison Lowry is a visual artist based in Saintfield, Northern Ireland. Her ground breaking work, ‘(A)Dressing our hidden truths’, shown at the National Museum of Ireland, (2019- present), was one of the first acknowledgements of the Magdalene Laundries presented in an Irish Institution. The Museum subsequently purchased the exhibition for their permanent collection
