I am an artist working with painting and photography. My focus is to explore patterns emerging through movement, repetition, and chance. In photography I am exploring these processes in the natural world, and with painting in the symbolic world. Both relate to human experience and emotion. My paintings and photographs are related areas of work underpinned by similar ideas.

I am an artist and designer living and working in York, UK. My paintings and drawings explore the natural environment and the human form, and are often elemental, instinctive and textural. Inspired by movement, shifting light and changing weather conditions, I aim to capture the character and uniqueness of people and place. I work in acrylic, oils, graphite, charcoal, ink and watercolour.

I’m a multi-disciplinary artist with a current focus on painting, who studied at Central Saint Martins. I'm inspired when art provokes people to reconsider the familiar. Throughout last year I started experimenting with 2D mixed media paintings, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a tool to enable my art. I want my work to be both expressive and representational. I am a TB survivor.

I am an early career artist, having graduated from Leeds Arts University 2021. I had a previous career which is un-related to art, and I come from a family where art was not the norm. I do tend to 'go against the grain'. My practice is multi-media.
