    Exploring the lost and found, the past and how it has shaped us, connection and heritage are the themes central to my work. I seek to create a certain atmosphere and emotion. All at once imagined and familiar, a connection with the viewer and a continued exploration to find my own place in the world. Inspired by my home in beautiful, rugged Northumberland.

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.

    I am an practising public artist working with galleries, schools and community groups. I am highly experienced in Art workshops for Young Children, Primary, Secondary, Post 16, SEN, including Adults of all ages and capabilities. I've been a PGCE Secondary Art and Design Teacher, a Higher Level TA 3 Teaching Assistant / Art Therapy. Taught BTEC Art and Design Level 2&3, A Level Sculpture.

Her site specific installations respond to the immediate surroundings, utilising or are inspired by found materials. Her work presents environmental themes and issues such as climate change, pollution, erosion and adaptation on a public scale. She is an established art educator and workshop facilitator.

When making work she thinks about how changing the context of space can relocate it into a new spectrum of reference. Her work is deeply embedded in the appropriation of images and material. She see's this as a kind of recycling of possible meaning that touches on both the personal and the cultural
