    A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics and also pet pencil drawings. I have an eclectic range of paintings from pop art to seascapes, landscapes, cloud studies to flowers. Currently experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.

    I am a textile artist using machine embroidery as my main medium. I work in my studio in Sheffield called 'Stitched Up and Fleeced'. I trained at Bolton Art College Foundation Course 1971-2 , Loughborough College of Art and Design Degree in Stitched Textiles 1975, PGCE Art and Design at Leicester 1976, Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen since 1996 and awarded a Fellowship in 2013.

    I am a Scottish photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator who lives in Lewes, East Sussex. Being brought up on a farm has contributed heavily towards my practice. I enjoyed a lot of freedom, but my existence was quite isolated which, in hindsight, instilled an ability to work alone and an urge for self-expression.

    George Sfougaras’ work is concerned with the way history, national symbols, myths, and rhetoric shape identity. He has gained recognition with his reconstructed maps and narrative portraits. His ‘Tales from an Old Fort Town’ and the ‘Forgotten Conquerors’ (suites of prints and illustrated books reclaiming aspects of Greek, Jewish and Arab history) were published in 2018.

    Rachel Anderson is a textile artist and designer working from East Yorkshire. Primarily specialising in freemotion machine embroidery, Rachel also works with fabric design, mark making and other textile techniques. Her textile works often combine structure and fluidity, designing fabrics based on hand marbled prints which juxtapose the rigidity of the drawn elements that sit on the surface.
