    Amelia Frances Wood is a British artist living and working in the UK. A multidisciplinary artist, Woods practice focuses on an exploration through different materials. Manipulating matter to create strange and surreal artworks layered with references to the body, design, projections of the mind and merging with the mundane the artwork is looking at us as much as we look at it.

    I am a contemporary artist based in Devon and London. I work predominantly with wool to create 2D and 3D pieces centering around issues of power and mental health. I currently have two collections, Body and Mind featuring visceral sculptural pieces, and The Power and The Glory which predominantly includes wool portraits of dominant public figures.

    I am a wood carver & artificer. I specialise in contemporary life like sculpture for private gardens to Public spaces, reflecting today's values and society. I'm also known for my climate change, plastic litter and conservation art.     An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the temporal transformation of discarded and forgotten objects into new printed images which emulate the landscape, becoming imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges as they form their new printed landscape
