    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.

    I studied fine art (Painting) at Wimbledon School of Art 1970-73 and have continued to make and exhibit work regionally, nationally and internationally.     For over 30 years, Tessa has photographed rural life, working closely with individuals and communities to investigate how the landscape is shaped by humans. From hill farmers near her home in N Yorkshire to Icelandic puffin hunters, from Romanian nomadic shepherds to Lincolnshire flower farmers her projects reveal the fascinating intricacies of the dependencies between people, work and the land.

    Based in North Yorkshire, I am a fine artist creating expressive landscapes and botanical art. With a background in graphic design and a degree from Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts (Vietnam), my current practice utilizes soft pastels and mixed media to capture the atmospheric light of the British countryside.

    Lo graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009 with a Ba(Hons) in Fine Art. She has since been writing, drawing and working in Leeds with her cat and number one fan, Moo. She works as an independent Illustrator and is one half of the creative duo, Lo & Vee. Together they run a regular art class and have had success with their large, detailed, painted murals.

    My practice is one of continuous transition & evolution. My current paintings explore ideas around the passing of time; the repetitive brush marks act as a visual representation of transience - counting out moments one by one. By repeating & building layers of marks, they create a pattern. The pattern, in turn, forms rhythmic motifs and forms that can be read as macro or micro views of the world.
