    My name is Vic Wright and l'm a sculptor based in the North West of England. My pieces are often the result of experimenting and manipulating core materials. Typically my work takes the form of unique casts. Using a base of fine casting cement different materials such as metal powders and pigments are added. When drying this results in different textures, colours and surfaces.

    Since my training at Edinburgh College of Art I have been inspired by nature. My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter and seeks to distil the image to enhance this. I am a slow meditative painter. This process puts me in touch with the healing spirit I inherited from the medics in my family.     Sue is a contemporary yorkshire based artist, gaining a Diploma in Fine Art and Crafts at Leeds College of Art, and a BA Honours Degree in Art and Design at Bradford College In 1997. Since then participating in various open exhibition and group shows. Primarily Sue uses oil paint, to draw out intangible moments from specific memories. Layers of impasto being a striking feature.
