    My practice operates at the intersection of Neo-Expressionism and Pop art, fusing raw street art aesthetics with supernatural iconography and the historic subversion of Polari slang. This multidisciplinary visual vocabulary serves a singular purpose: to document the contemporary queer narrative across its triumphs, systemic setbacks, and the friction of daily existence.

    I've been working in education as a technician in various guises for over ten years. This has given me a wealth of knowledge and encounters that crosses specialist subject areas and allows me to bring in processes from different specialism into my art practice.     I am a multimedia artist whose practice explores the natural environment and the fluidity of time. My work reflects an ongoing curiosity about how time is perceived, felt, and remembered.     Henny Burnett is a mixed media installation artist who lives and works in Bristol. She attended Byam Shaw School of Art in London, Fiberworks in Berkeley, California and Edinburgh College of Art.     I am a predominantly self taught artist working across a range of textile mediums with a particular focus on weaving currently. I use a range of different size handheld or tabletop looms, mainly working with natural & recycled fibres in combination with found objects that maybe natural or manmade.

    Originally from Essex I have lived in The North East since 2008 with my daughter who has physical disabilities and emotional issues. I originally did a degree in textiles at Wolverhampton University in the 1990's but studied for an MA in Fine Art in 2020 at Teesside University.
