As a gay man I am also interested in exploring the multiplicity of images and ideals we are presented with and redefining the idea of masculinity. My work explores narrative, colour, line, composition, and mark-making to evoke an emotion or develop the narrative within an image.

I create mixed media / textile art in the form of canvases, panels, framed works, embroidery hoops and wall hangings. I paint. I produce statement jewellery and other decorative pieces using wire, beads and textiles. I design vibrant prints that I hope spark joy. I sing. I am putting together a cookbook.

Report this?Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

I have a background in Painting and Sculpture, holding a First Class Honours Dip. A. D. and Post-Graduate Commonwealth Award for Sculpture to India. I formed Kate Anderson Mosaics in 2002, and am a professional member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.
