    My practice crosses performance, sculpture and moving image, inhabiting a flickering state between rational and non-rational realities, to create powerful mash-ups, hybrid half-truths, not-quite-lies. My work is in the Saatchi Collection and was exhibited in ‘Known Unknowns’ at Saatchi Gallery throughout 2018. I have performed at the Tate Modern and at performance festivals in UK and abroad.

    I work with site-responsive installation, photography and video using light, space and wind and am inspired by the ordinary, the everyday and the need to find meaning in our lives.     Jenny Baines is an artist whose practice explores the relationship between the body, screen and space. Working predominantly with 16mm film, she performs repeated often absurd actions for the camera, pushing the limitations of her own physical endurance.

    Born in Nottinghamshire, Stuart Reid completed a Foundation course in Art and Design at Grimsby School of Art. He studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and Birmingham School of Art (Postgraduate Painting). He lives in East London and works in a Space Studio.     I am a painter who is interested in people, places, objects and groups in society. My role as a teacher informs my work and I often respond to my immediate environment. Painting offers a special opportunity to combine imagery, technique and art historical references to tell stories and suggest ideas. The act of looking, drawing and the physical mixing and application of colour are important to me.

    I work in the medium of film/video and photography. I studied photography before going on to study fine art at Leeds where I specialised in video art. As a filmmaker I've made creative films for Screen Yorkshire and North West Vision in England. My photographs have been exhibited online and in galleries, both in the UK and internationally.

    I have been doing abstract art since the beginning of 2023, as a recovering alcoholic (sober for over 10 years now) I use my art as a way of expressing my innermost feelings without having to speak a single word about them. I see my paintings as a screenshot of my soul at that particular moment in time.

    I’m Jane and I’m a fine silver contemporary jewellery maker. I came to art as an outlet whilst being a full time carer though I’ve always loved the arts especially galleries. I’m due to commence an arts degree in June 2026 to deepen my love of drawing.
